In July of 2018, God placed the assignment on Pastor Allen Taylor’s life to serve the wonderful Delaware Street Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Taylor preached his official message as Delaware’s pastor on August 12, 2018. As a result of the calling on his life and following the devout leadership of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Taylor  led the body of Delaware to a place of spiritual growth and development. With the empowering presence of God, an endless amount of love, and concern for God’s people,  the body of Delaware has grown tremendously.  Delaware baptized over 100 souls the first year and several more after. Pastor Taylor is adamant about letting people know that there is only  ONE celebrity at Delaware Street and His name is “JESUS CHRIST”.  True church growth comes from the word of God in (John 12:32) where Jesus states profoundly “And I, If I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”

Pastor Taylor preaches and teaches with a passion to enlighten the people of God as to who they are in Christ Jesus; as well as build them up from the brokenness of their life experiences. Pastor Taylor  known to some as “Pastor T” is an industrial contractor of over 31 years.  

Pastor Taylor is a graduate of Lillie B. Williamson High School class of 1987. He attended Alabama State University, Bishop State, and Citadel Bible Institute where he graduated with studies in theology, Christology, Pneumatology with a special focus in Eschatology. Pastor T is currently doing an in depth study in etymology of the Hebrew language to gain a deeper understanding of the origin of words. Pastor Taylor made a covenant with God to be ever learning and devoutly studying the word of God. Pastor Taylor is married to Minister. Ella M. Taylor and collectively they have 5 wonderful children and 9 grand children.
